INFORMATIONAL LETTER

Dear Colleagues!

Department of German Language of the Faculty of Sociocultural Communications of the Belarusian State University (Minsk, Belarus) invites scientists, university teachers, postgraduate students, undergraduates and graduate students to take participate in the work of  the IX-th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Foreign languages: innovations, perspectives of research and teaching"

March 26, 2026

The aim of the conference is to exchange experience between researchers, teachers, representatives of the professional community on issues related to the latest trends in foreign language research and teaching.

Problem field of the conference:

1.Modern problems of Russian and foreign linguistics.

2. Foreign languages through the prism of linguodidactics.

3. Information and communication technologies in teaching foreign languages and literature. 

4.Linguistic aspects of intercultural communication.

5.Actual issues of literary studies, translation studies and translation practice.

Working languages: Belarusian, Russian, German.

Conditions of participation in the conference

To participate in the conference it is necessary to submit to the organizing committee an application form and the text of the report(!!!one file!!!) by January 31, 2026 to the address bsu.lehrstuhl.deutsch22@mail.ru (marked Conference - 2026). The title of the report should be the name of the author and his place of work, for example: Ivanov_BGU.doc. Following the results of the conference it is planned to publish an electronic collection of materials, which will be placed in the Electronic Library of the Belarusian State University. as well as in the Scientific Electronic Library at https://elibrary.ru,что implies indexing in the scientific database RINC (Russian Science Citation Index). The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select papers for inclusion in the conference program, as well as the right of scientific review and technical editing of materials. The authors of the papers who have not received information about the rejection of the article before February 28, 2026, in May-June 2026 (immediately after the publication of the collection in the electronic library of BSU), will be sent a link to the electronic collection of articles.

The collection will include materials with the originality of the text not less than 70%, not previously published elsewhere and made within the framework of the current areas of the problem field of the conference.Please provide confirmation of passing the anti-plagiarism check.

Materials that do not meet the scientific level and theme of the conference, that are not prepared in accordance with the requirements and sent after the deadline will not be published and will not be sent back.

Organizational fee for the conference is NOT charged. Accommodation and travel expenses are at the expense of the sending party.

Requirements for the design of articles

The text of the article should be 3 or more pages of printed text in A4 format.

Text layout requirements:

- text editor - MSWord (RTF format only), Font - TimesNewRoman, size - 14 pt;

margins: left, right, top 27 mm, bottom 34 mm. Paragraph indent - 1 cm, which is set using the "Paragraph" menu. line spacing is single.

A bibliography list with at least three sources.

 

Information shall be submitted in the following sequence: 

IN RUSSIAN

1. Title of the report (on the first line in the centre, without a paragraph indent, bold font, TimesNewRoman, font size 14 pt, indentation at the top 14pt and bottom 14pt capital letters). If the title is several lines long, then without hyphenation.       

2. Initials and surname of the author/authors (alignment in the centre, without paragraph indentation, bold font, TimesNewRoman, size 14 pt, indentation at the top 14 pt, indentation at the bottom 12pt).

3. Full name of the organisation; address of the organisation; postcode; city; country; e-mail of the author/authors (in italics, centre alignment, TimesNewRoman, font size 12 pt).

4. The abstract is typed in 12 pt, alignment - page width, paragraph indent 1 cm, 5-6 lines with hyphenation in Russian and Belarusian languages (Layout / Hyphenation / Auto). Indentation at the bottom 12pt.

5. Keywords: 5-7 (straight 12 pt font, TimesNewRoman, width alignment). Key words or phrases are separated from each other by semicolons. 14pt indentation at the bottom.

IN ENGLISH

After 1 missing line after the key words in Russian, all the above information is given in English. In p. 4, 5 WITHOUT REFERENCES IN ENGL. LANGUAGE (to do this, select the English text, Paragraph / Position on page / Disable automatic word transposition).
